Yoga Retreat

Copan Ruinas, Honduras

If you are coming from Grand Cayman, where I live, we will fly into La Ceiba, Honduras and meet up with those coming from other parts of the globe in San Pedro Sula, Honduras.  We will join together and begin our trip on a 3 hour overland private bus to “Copan Ruinas”, Honduras.  For the next four nights we will stay in a 100 year old home, Hacienda San Lucas, which is located above the ancient Mayan Ruins.

The Copan Ruins are located in the western part of Honduras, about 60 kilometers from the border with Guatemala. The ruins are known for its rich stone sculptures and intricate hieroglyphs which make this sacred site a feature attraction along ‘La Ruta Maya’.

The setting of this ancient Mayan civilization is pristine!  The sky is free of pollution and you can watch the shadows of passing clouds move along the mountains and over the tobacco fields. The jungle that surrounds Copan is lush, tall and filled with sounds of a variety of animals.

Seva project  To Be Announced….

Our yoga adventure continues overland via private bus into Guatemala until we reach Lake Atitlan.
